Cellar Door Wine Tours Terms and Conditions

Here are the Terms and Conditions for
Cellar Door Wine Tours. Please read these
conditions as your participation implies you
agree to the following:

Guest Safety: Cellar Door Wine Tours is not responsible for your health, welfare, or safety any time you are outside of the tour vehicle. Please keep an eye out for you and other people on the wine tour for potential hazards while walking through parking lots, sidewalks, vineyards, winery facilities, and tasting rooms.

Privacy Policy: All wine tours are private. Paying tour guests will not be made to take a tour with someone they do not know personally.

Service Deposit: Cellar Door Wine Tours requires a credit card and $50.00 deposit at the time of booking for all wine tours.

Tour Cancellation and Refund Policy explained below:

  • Custom Crush Experience: Tour deposits become non-refundable two weeks (14 days) before the scheduled tour date(s). If a booking is made within 14 days of the tour date(s), the deposit is automatically non-refundable
  • Magnum Experience – Tour deposits become non-refundable two weeks (14 days) before the scheduled tour date(s). If a booking is made within 14 days of the tour date(s), the deposit is automatically non-refundable
  • Hourly Driving Service – Deposits become non-refundable one week (7 days) before the scheduled tour date(s). If booking is made within 7 days of the tour date(s) the deposit is automatically non-refundable
  • Deposit Application – The tour deposit is deducted from the wine tour balance. The remainder due will be charged to the credit card on file unless other payment arrangements are made
  • Moving Deposit – We will move your wine tour deposits to a future tour date if you would like to reschedule with us. There is a 1-year expiration date on that deposit for a future rescheduling

Pick-up Radius: The pickup radius is within 25-miles of Newberg, OR, but does not include the Portland Metro or Downtown areas due to licensing restrictions. We can accommodate a pickup in any of the suburban vicinities outside of the Portland city limits at an agreed-upon location

Travel Fees: Any pickups outside the 25-mile radius of Newberg, Oregon, will be charged an additional travel fee. The travel fee price will be based on mileage and time driven to and from each pick-up location and will be applied for pickups from these surrounding locations listed below:

  • Cities east of Portland International Airport (PDX) – Including cities surrounding Troutdale, Happy Valley, Gresham, and Estacada
  • Cities south, west and east of Salem, Oregon – Including cities surrounding Silverton, Monmouth, Independence, Dallas, Corvallis, Depoe Bay, Lincoln City, Neskowin, Pacific City, and Newport
  • We DO NOT pick-up in areas surrounding these locations – Eugene, Junction City, Sandy, Government Camp, Hood River, The Dalles, Madras, Redmond, Bend, Klamath Falls, Waldport, Florence, Coos Bay, Tillamook, Cannon Beach, Seaside, Astoria or around any city locations in Washington State

Tasting Fees: Tasting fees, as well as any additional elevated experiences, cave tastings, facility tours, vineyard walks and their fees, are the responsibility of all our touring guests and are NOT included in the wine tour or hourly driving service pricing offered by Cellar Door Wine Tours. Advance purchases or deposits for these experiences mentioned above, may be required in order to attend and are also the responsibility of the guests, not Cellar Door Wine Tours (unless otherwise specified in writing.)

Non-Paying Clients: Only paid touring guests are allowed inside our touring vehicles while the vehicles are parked or moving

Food Options: Cellar Door Wine Tours offers the option to include a snack platter and/or lunch for an additional cost. If you or anyone in your group has specific dietary restrictions, please inform us in advance. While we make every effort to accommodate dietary needs, it’s important to note that the food may be prepared in facilities that also handle nuts, eggs, shellfish, and other allergens. Please be aware that Cellar Door Wine Tours cannot be held responsible for any adverse effects resulting from the consumption of the provided snacks and/or lunches. In the case of purchasing lunches from local restaurants during the tour, the associated costs will be the responsibility of the touring guest. If you have any concerns or special dietary requirements, please communicate them to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience

Tour Guide Availability: Cellar Door Wine Tours cannot guarantee the availability of any one specific wine tour guide. Helen Avery and Mark Treick (and other employees) will be your scheduled tour guides. Although you may have booked a tour with one driver in mind or specifically requested, Cellar Door Wine Tours reserves the right to decide who your tour guide will be based on our personnel and scheduling needs

Completed Wine Tour: Cellar Door Wine Tours is not responsible for personal items left in our touring vehicles or at tasting locations visited, as well as your activities and actions after the wine tour has ended. Please do not drink and drive, and do not consume more than your personal limit

Participation: While we do our very best to help everyone on our wine tours and driving services have a great experience, it sometimes happens that someone participating in a wine tour can misbehave or do things that are incompatible with the safety, comfort, or convenience of other members of the wine tour or at locations we visit. In those circumstances, we have the exclusive right and discretion to expel someone (or even the entire touring group) from a wine tour at any time

  • Unacceptable circumstances that will not be tolerated during wine tours are: illegal actions; hostile belligerence; extremely disrespectful, insulting, or physically destructive behavior; blatant disregard for stated company policies; and unsafe behaviors and racial insults by touring guests toward tour guides and/or any other people in or outside our touring vehicles

  • Cellar Door Wine Tours is not responsible for any additional costs or fines (legal or non-legal) once a wine tour cancellation is administered by Cellar Door Wine Tours

  • Deposits and tour balances will also be at the discretion of Cellar Door Wine Tours. Depending on the circumstances surrounding the group cancellation, any and all outstanding payments owed to Cellar Door Wine Tours will be collected by the credit card on file for that cancelled tour

Legal Use of Drivers: Drivers associated with Cellar Door Wine Tours can only drive vehicles that are legally insured with Cellar Door Wine Tours for any and all driving services offered by Cellar Door Wine Tours

Smoking policy: No smoking or vaping is allowed in or within 100 feet (30 meters) of our touring vehicles
