Tailored for groups of 7 to 14 people who know each other, this private wine tour provides a luxurious and indulgent day out with your closest companions.

Tailored Wine Tour Experience

The Magnum Experience Wine Tour takes care of every detail from start to finish. Beginning between 10:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., the tour offers convenient pick-up from your home or lodging within a 20-mile radius of Newberg, Oregon (additional driving charges for locations beyond the 20-mile radius will apply.) Whether you’re staying at a private residence or a local hotel, the tour ensures a smooth and comfortable journey. Once on board, the adventure starts as you visit 3 premium wineries, each offering a unique experience that combines wine tasting, local history, and insights into the winemaking process.

Throughout your tour, indulge in private, curated wine tastings at each winery. For smaller groups (8 or fewer), tasting fees typically range from $25 to $50 per person. Larger groups (9 or more) may experience higher fees, and room rental situations which we will discuss with you ahead of time ensuring you know what you’re paying for.

While each guest is responsible for their own tasting fees, the Magnum Experience takes care of everything else—reservations, logistics, and transportation—so you can focus on enjoying the day to the fullest with each other.

To keep everyone hydrated and comfortable, we provide bottled water throughout the day, ensuring the best tasting experience for all.

Tour Logistics and Details

• Pick-up: Typically between 10:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
• Return: Between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
• Extended Tours: If your tour exceeds 7 hours, an additional fee of $125 per hour (billed in ¼-hour increments) will apply
• Outside of Newberg, Oregon: For pick-up and drop-off locations outside a 20-mile radius, additional driving charges will apply based on time and distance

What’s Included in the Magnum Experience

FOOD AND BEVERAGES: You’re welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. All restaurant and other food-related costs are also at guests own expense.

For lunch you can let us know your preference in what you would like to do, and we will schedule the appropriate locations that either offer a food choice or will allow us to bring in outside food. Options you have are as follows and all are not included in the driving price. These are an additional cost to you:

• Pack your own food and bring your own lunch with you. We will eat it at the second stop of the day if we make the reservation

• We schedule a location that has Cheese and Charcuterie boards or small bites menu available

• We order food from a restaurant in advance of the second stop and we will pick it up to-go and eat it at the second stop of the day
• Choose from our Cellar Door Wine Tour Lunch Menu for $25 each. We’ll have it ready in advance for a picnic at a stop that allows outside food (the best option if you’re not looking for an elevated tasting experience)
• We book a “Wine-Paired Lunch,” if available, or we help you find one from the ones we know about. Approximate cost starts at $150.00 per person and can go up from there.

We provide a cooler of water for the day for all guests included in the pricing. You may bring your own non-alcoholic beverages if you want something besides water. Open containers of any type of alcoholic beverage are not permitted at any time in the vehicle or on the premises of any of the winery locations we visit.

TASTING FEES: All Guests are responsible for paying all their own tasting fees and purchases at each location.

FINAL BILLING: There is a deposit at the time of booking of $50.00 plus taxes/fees to secure your tour date. It is fully refundable up to 14-days prior to the event date. If you cancel within 14-days of your tour date the deposit is not refunded. All final remaining amounts due will be charged in person by your driver at the conclusion of the service at the end of each day.

GRATUITY: For larger groups in this category of 7 or more guests, a 20% gratuity will be automatically added to the final balance due.

• Important Notice 1: Facility touring and/or wine tasting fees are NOT included in wine tour price (You can usually waive these fees at many locations with minimum purchases)
• Important Notice 2: Gratuity is not included in the pricing. We leave it to your discretion and do appreciate any added tips you leave based on the service and education you receive throughout your day. Cash is preferred, but we can add it to a final credit card purchase if necessary
• Important Notice 3: Cellar Door Wine Tours requires a credit card and $50.00 deposit at the time of booking for all wine tours, hourly driving services and custom driving services
• Important Notice 4: Tour deposits become non-refundable two weeks (14 days) before the scheduled wine tour(s). If a booking is made within 14 days of the date(s), the deposit is automatically non-refundable
• Important Notice 5: All wineries and tasting rooms accept credit cards as payment for tasting fees and wine purchases. Gratuity for full service and food items in tasting rooms is customary for employees at 15% to 20% based on the total tasting fee price. Tipping on retail purchases is not necessary
